Why build a mobile application?

As part of our mandate, we develop tools that help educators support learners with FASD. While cora isn't the first application we've developed, it is the first one designed for use on mobile devices and the web.

A classroom can be a busy place and educators may find that taking observations or jotting down notes about students to be somewhat difficult. When it comes time write report cards, organizing all these notes can take time. We designed cora to allow educators to record meaningful observations and notes as efficiently as possible, giving them more time to spend with students. These observations and notes can be later analyzed and used to design accommodations for struggling students.

We hope that all educators, not just those supporting learners with FASD, will find cora useful in their daily classroom routines.
